I hired Wise Choice Interior Solutions to renovate my upstairs guest bathroom and I am so happy with the results! Steven was very reasonably priced for the scope of the project and his crew did a great job. His crew was always punctual and did high quality work. Steven was responsive whenever I had questions or concerns, and made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. The work was also completed faster than I anticipated. The bathroom turned out beautifully, and I am very pleased with the finished result!

Reviews
Steven was responsive and professional. We head our floors fully sanded and re-stained and he offered very reasonable pricing for his services where as a few other quotes were very much out there. He is very transparent about his work and is very knowledgeable. We would hire him again.
Every aspect of the work was exceptional. The crew went above and beyond. We will definitely use them again.
Good Job
Outstanding work!!!
This job was done June 2025 and is holding up wonderfully. Steven and his crew did an amazing job of installing tile for shower and laundry room floor. Steven was quick to respond and addressed any concerns immediately. His crew is highly skilled, did quality work and were very efficient. I would for sure hire them again for future projects, he was a pleasure doing business with.
Great contractor, flexible and personable. Excellent results
We had another contractor ghost us and so I went looking for what I thought was an alternative, but I am so glad we went with Steven at Wise Choice. He was responsive, fairly priced, his crew was professional, and the work was flawless. His guys even stayed late to finish it a single day. Within a week of the work being done and I've already referred a few friends to Steven at Wise Choice.
I was in a pinch. Steven responded quickly and was easy to work with. He and his team did a great job! Would definitely hire again.
I am new to the area so used Thumbtack to find contractors. Went with Wise Choice after receiving 2 quotes. Steven was informative and professional. He completed our bathroom upgrade, installed a barn door, painted kitchen cabinets, replaced LVP floors. We are thrilled with the way the project turned out. I highly recommend Wise Choice and will use them for all my future projects.
The almost full home renovation was a complete disaster for me and my family. I can’t begin to tell you how many things were half done. I’ll try and list them. 1. We asked for a specific deadline for a very expensive job. He promised us this via text message. When the day was slowly approaching, he said a few more days. The painters told us an additional 10 days. My husband and I were a little taken back, but agreed. So we set another date. When that date came, he started sporadically answering our text and calls. We moved our you d family of 5 into an unfinished, dusty work zone. 2. The floor guy did a good job except the stairs. Some of the treads were cut short and the end pieces are already coming up. 3. The painter lady was amazing. However, there was no quality control. He wanted us to check after the workers and he never came over to check to ensure things were being done correctly. There are still spots that we are just catching that was left undone. 4. We had to call his rude and uncertified plumber back out and they wanted to charge us extra for a leaking sink that was in the contract. Come to find out after hiring a new plumber , the disposal was bad and needed replacing. His guy replaced a. $5.00 pipe for $600. The $600 included toilet installation that we are currently in the process of resetting. The toilets move all over the floor. My 4 yr old almost fell when trying to climb on the brand new toilet. 5. His communication was poor the entire time. He barely answered questions and when problems arise, he would say he is out of town, he is busy, he forgot and when it was time to collect his money, he had no issues and miraculously came back in town and was free! 6. When my husband brought up the issues to him, he didn’t even want to give us a discount. We finally agreed to $1,000 off but to be honest, it should have been more. I attached some text threads for proof. He is a fast talker and a fake!!! If you want anxiety or half-done work, then this is the person for you!! He overcharges and under deliver!!! This is the worst renovation I have ever taken on.
Excellent work and pricing. Quick to respond to any questions about what materials are needed. Highly recommended.
I am remodeling a house for short-term rental. Steve and his team removed the kitchen wall and turned the kitchen into an open kitchen. I am very happy with the work that has been done. Steve is always available when I need him (even though I know he is very busy and is juggling multiple projects at a time). He will do what he can to make you happy. As an added bonus his spouse is an interior designer which means you have professional design advice when needed, trust me this is important!
Steve and his team remodeled two showers for us. We removed two old fiberglass showers and replaced them with tile walk in showers with glass sliding doors. He uses the Schulter System which is waterproofing of the tiles which is an excellent system. Steve and every member of his team are very kind, understanding and polite. The value you receive is truly phenomenal. I highly recommend Wise Choice Interior Solutions!
Best tile job ever. It was a small project but they got it done fast and on time. Very very pleased with the workmanship. I would recommend them to anyone needing tile work performed.
Steven was great. They did a fantastic job that exceeded expectations. These guys will be our go to for all future projects
They are reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for some great company that takes care of all of your needs. Steve (owner) always takes the time to answer any questions I may have, and provides me with all the options available-from repair to replacement. As a woman, it can be difficult to find someone that you can trust to do the job that needs to be done.
Mr. Steve Aphonso & his Tile Technicians were professionals. This team work ethics were impressive. All of their efforts of making our builder grade shower/tub combo look elegant and classy was well worth all types of referrals to anyone, but most importantly our neighborhood.
Steven and his team were great! They were able to come out to do the job very quickly and did it all in a day! They cleaned up after the job which was wonderful and very professional! Steven was very responsive and helpful as well. If we need any more tile work done we will definitely be using them again! Attached are before and after.
Steven & his crew were very polite & professional. They did an outstanding job replacing our very old deck. We will recommend them to anyone looking for deck work.
