“I've never had a contractor quote a price and then add tax afterwards on the estimate. Also, the written estimate was showed to us after the work was completed, not prior, and then we were told that the estimate form would change to an invoice once paid. I paid it in full, of course, but I do feel that it is a bit of bait and switch on the final price. The added "tax" should be communicated as part of the original verbal estimate and present a written estimate prior to agreement.”

“Joe installed a chandelier, replaced our front door trim, fixed some damage in the door jamb, and also installed a squat rack to our garage wall. He rented a ladder since the chandelier was about 18 feet high. He also made improvements to the squat rack as the last person that installed it did it poorly where we’d be able to hear metal clanking all the time. He improved the stability and made things sit into place better. Overall he was a pleasure to work with. His communication was excellent and the work quality is excellent. Highly recommend!”
