He simply said, “No problem, I’ll come and take care of it.” He drove nearly an hour with his team, picked up the additional studs from Home Depot, and spent another couple of hours completing the work. Considering the travel, materials, and labor involved, I genuinely don’t think he made any profit from that second visit. Yet he showed up with the same positive attitude and a smile on his face, without a single complaint or any attempt to charge me unreasonable amounts. That kind of honesty, responsibility, and commitment to customers is rare. It’s clear that he cares about his reputation, takes pride in his work, and values long-term relationships more than making a quick profit.
