Vineet Sharma says, “We had an excellent experience with Casa Utopia and with Elior as our general contractor for our major home remodel. Our remodel was complex with multiple phases. We made a lot of changes and a lot of additional work from the original scope.1. We can now say with confidence that Elior is a very honest person. This is a very important trait for remodeling. A trustworthy contractor is essential.2. Our remodel was complex and we added on many additional items after the work had begun. Elior was very accommodating with the changes. As a matter of fact, some of the changes which we liked were Eliors suggestions based on his experience.Overall, Elior is an honest, trustworthy and very accommodating general contractor. We are extremely happy having worked with him on a complex home remodeling project and highly recommend Elior.”

Sunny S. says, “I interviewd SIX contracting firms, back to back, there at the house. It was enlightening to see how each reacted to the job and the high level of work, hear their different ideas for what needed to be done, and to see the final bids. One contractor seemed so overwhelmed by the project, I was really a little worried for him. Another walked out on me before even seeing the whole house! But Joey was AMAZING. During his FREE consultation (not all of them were), he was calm, kind, pleasant to chat with, optimistic and positive, and displayed so much knowledge and understanding of structrual engineering, our budget constraints, and where we needed to focus our resources. He saw issues that other contractors missed, and he was confident and resourceful about some issues that other contractors seemed to make a bigger deal out of than was warranted (my guess was to increase the bid price). Joey (and a few others) were like- "thats not a big issue- simple, cheap fix!" and Joey also explained *why* and *how*. I appreciated how he was both quick and throrough in his walk through. Other contractors either took *forever* or rushed through to where I didn't feel confident in what they were bidding on. We ended up getting an incredible "friends and family discount" sort of deal, but even still it was such a difficult decision becuase we just absolutely loved Joey and the ideas he had, and I just got a strong sense of honesty and integrity from him. Had we not been offered such an amazing deal, we ***defintely*** would have gone with Joey's company. Not only did I just like him as a person and knew I could work well with him, even from far away, his bid was very competitive (about $30,000 less than the next lowest bidder), and was by far the most thorough, detailed, and straight forward bid we received. I have no doubt he would have done an excellent great job had we hired his company. I highly recommend you contact him for your project. I am sure you will love him too!”
Bryan T. says, “After submitting my request in the Thumbtack app, I got a call from Be Free Developments in 15 minutes. The next day, Bar came to my home to do a walkthrough prior to submitting an estimate.
Bar was punctual, engaging, knowledgeable, sympathetic to our situation, had great questions, and walked me through all available options. His expertise was evident.
The estimate was turned around in 2 days, and my requested changes were turned around one day later.
Unfortunately, my original issue was misdiagnosed by another vendor, and we suspected a foundation issue instead of a subfloor issue. The owner that did the foundation work referred me to a contractor he works with, and agreed to cover a portion of the cost if I selected that contractor. This was a nice gesture, but that cut in price made it impossible for Be Free Developments to be cost competitive.
Under normal circumstances, I would have happily hired Be Free, and would have been confident going into the project.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bar and Be Free, and will be sure to reach out to them when my next project comes around.”
Tabi Z. says, “Very professional. Very knowledgeable about the industry and trends and very well connected to other vendors which makes the whole process super smooth and headache-free. Definitely not cheap but after meeting with multiple contractors, these guys are well worth the $$$.”
Kaitlin d. says, “He was very responsive and easy to work with. We had a few small issues and he always dealt with them right away. Project was completed quickly and on time. I’d work with them again.”
