“I interviewed friends and family and could not find a contractor through those means. So I found 3 contractors to come take a look at our kitchen/mini remodel using Thumbtack. All of the 3 contractors came in very close in terms of the bids $$. We choose On Design and remodeling to work with us because we felt they would have the best working relationship. Aviv told us that they would have great communication during the whole process and they did. The whole team was very responsive to any question and any issues that arose. We remodeled our kitchen and replaced the flooring in about 75% of the house (engineered hardwood and carpet). The work also included structural engineering support of an exterior wall as well as removal of a wall in the interior. After the dust settled the team completed the project in approximately 12 weeks and the team finished on time and on schedule. They actually finished a few days early to the plan. We were thrilled with the level of communication as well as their care with our family. We decided to live in the house during construction and the team did a lot to try and make it as pleasant as possible. They did a good job of keeping the site clean before they left each day. We did have issues with things as the project progressed, things just come up. One of our cabinets did not fit as we thought it would. Aviv and Raz were able to take care of it. Got us a different cabinet - one that fit the right way, and very quickly resolved the issue. Overall I would, and have, recommended On Design to family and friends. I don’t think it’s normal to have such a smooth and painless experience during a remodel. I’m really glad we used On Design, it did take a lot of stress off a very stressful situation.”

“We highly recommend the Inspired Builders team.During the design process, David and team provided great advice on the layout. Their in-house designer, Nicole, helped us bring our vision board to life. Nicole was with us at every store to pick materials and advise on decisions. The onsite crew, led by Fernando and Walter, were professional, responsive, and highly detail oriented. They were very organized and punctual with their daily schedule. We appreciated how they walked us through every phase of the project before installation began, and they were respectful of our home throughout the entire process. They were collaborative partners, highly responsive to communication and questions, and very transparent with the work. We love our newly remodeled bathroom.”

“If youre looking for a trustworthy and talented builder, I highly recommend them. You wont be disappointed!”

“Burt Remodeling did an amazing job doing the finishing touches on our remodel in the Berkeley Hills. They were responsive, professional, courteous, and communicative. They installed doors, baseboards, trim, painted, installed a handrail, and did so many other odds and ends. They were very clean, taking trash away and cleaning as they went to minimize disruption of the construction in our home. I will definitely be hiring them again and highly recommend you do too!”

“I had the privilege to have Joey come turn my wife and I’s vision into a reality. From initial response time, to his first site walk, through scheduling crews and closing out our project Joey was extremely responsive, transparent and caring. You can really tell when a contractor cares about their craft and wants to deliver a product that isn’t just complete but completed to a high standard. I myself have worked in the construction industry as a GC, designer and construction manager for the last 10 years and can wholeheartedly say without any reservations if you hire Joey as your contractor you will have a contractor that is honest, fair and delivers work at an extremely high standard. “We hired Bark & Build Builders for a 1,100 sqft second story addition, full home remodel, and backyard renovation. It was a big project, and honestly we were nervous before starting, but the entire process went much smoother than we expected.Mike, the project manager, kept everything organized and always made sure we understood the next steps. Valentina the designer helped us create a layout and finishes that made the whole house feel modern and connected. Carlos and his team worked hard every day and the quality of the work really shows in the final result. What we appreciated most was that they cared not only about how the house looks, but also about doing the work properly behind the walls and making everything feel solid and well built. My advice for anyone reading this review is not to choose a contractor based only on the lowest price. Communication, planning, and good management make a huge difference on projects this size. We are very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend Bark & Build Builders. 5 stars.”
