“I hired Luis' company for repair work to my deck. I have an oval above ground pool and a 48'x26' deck around it. After 3 decades of pool time the joist hangars around the pool rusted away and the deck began to sag in spots. I'm so glad I found Luis of Lucero General Contractors on Thumbtack. The work conditions for my job were miserable. They only had about 3-1/2 ft of headroom in a dark, muddy area close to the pool to access the hangars. It was hard work that few were willing to take on. Luis and crew did an excellent job. My deck is level and sturdy again and I couldn't be happier. Luis was very responsive from day 1. He returned calls and texts almost immediately. He showed up when he said he would. He also was very flexible, willing to work around our desire to use the pool in the waning days of summer. I would gladly hire Luis again for any of the work in his profile. If you're looking for someone to work for you that knows his business, is smart and skilled, wants you to be happy with his work, is honest with you and charges fair prices, I highly recommend him”

“This was my first time using Thumbtack so I was a bit nervous at first. He reached out right away. The property he worked on was a rental property that was long overdue for LOTS of work. He addressed all the problem areas wonderfully making this a lot less stressful for us. We've decided to go with him to fix up our other property. We strongly recommend him for any handyman work. Some of the work he's done for us include painting, new flooring, removing mold, and installing various appliances. His wife also does house cleaning for a living and both of their prices are extremely fair.”

“Miguel is careful and communicative. He works hard but also works smart. It is rare to find someone with the character and skill that Miguel brings to the table.”
