Trinley L. says, “Jared and Henri were very professional and their communication on the whole process was very knowledgeable and prompt. They are always willing to answer the numerous questions I had for the project. The project I hired them for was my garage and possible weight bearing spot that was damaged by one of the neighbor’s kid car. It involved multiple inspections from engineers and different contractors. The process in total did end up taking over 6 months. Mainly due to the availability of the engineers and issues with the neighbors insurance adjuster and coverage. Through this whole process I was informed of any updates or changes. The garage now looks even better than it did prior to the incident. I am extremely happy with the work and would refer and recommend them to anyone looking for help with their home projects.”

Emily Kruger says, “The Tortoise team remodeled my hall bathroom back in March and did a fantastic job, from start to finish and right on schedule with no budget surprises. Mike gave a fair estimate and helped me think through design decisions I hadn't even considered, since he's clearly been through this many times and brings up things us remodel novices might miss. My bathroom went from a cold, sterile, builder-grade afterthought to a calming, coastal-toned retreat. Everything feels cohesive, well thought out and solidly constructed. Mike also suggested a custom glass shower door sized for taller heights which I absolutely love and a bathroom fan that is remarkably quiet, just a couple of small details that make a big difference everyday. While the whole team was great, Troy was the true standout as project manager/finish carpenter. He was on top of every detail, kept the timeline moving, and checked in regularly to make sure I was happy with how things were progressing, not just at the end. He's also just a genuinely friendly, personable guy who made the whole process feel easy rather than stressful - a rare combination of being incredibly organized and genuinely pleasant to have around the house for weeks at a time. I never had to chase anyone down for updates; Troy made sure I always knew what was happening and when.I highly recommend Tortoise to anyone looking to renovate!”

hannah conway says, “So grateful for kieffer projects and their amazing work.My husband and I inherited a manufactured home from my father last year after he passed away.To say it needed some work, would have been an understatement. We spent months just digging the house out of blackberry bushes and cars that didn't run. What we found underneath was 15+ years of neglect.Rotting siding, missing gutters, paint that had been stained by years of weather, skirting hanging by a thread or completely ripped out by the blackberries. Not to mention the leaking roof, that was going straight into the spare bathroom above the shower. While the idea of just tearing it down did cross our minds and linger for awhile. We ultimately choose to honor my dad's memory and dreams for the house and property.Cue why were here. Kieffer projects. With how bad the exterior was we were, as you could imagine, in way over our heads. After talking to a few contractors to compare prices and options. Kieffer projects stood out to us by far. With a responsive team and an easy to work with additude, it was a clear choice. We were not disappointed. From the roof to the skirting everything was discussed and double checked at each step.Chad, who worked on our roof with his team, was thorough and very straightforward. He let us know that they would need to replace not just the roof but the boards underneath because of the water damage done. While they were removing those they found that bolts were loose at our marriage line. They tightened everything up for us for free before putting the new boards down.Every member of their team we had come to our house was knowledgeable and thorough. I can't tell you how much peace of mind you get from working with people that know what they are doing and are honest. Before the painter left after working all day, they had us walk around the house with them. Paint in hand, they touched up everything we asked them to.There were some projects we decided to do ourselves after getting a bid for it and talking with them. They were straightforward and upfront on what would be better spent paying someone to do for us versus doing ourselves. If you need a second opinion, have an idea for a new kitchen, or need something done yesterday. They are your guys. Would highly recommend.”

Leka Bondareva says, “I recently hired BlueX Restoration to remodel my office, and they exceeded all my expectations. During the early stages of the project, their team discovered hidden mold behind one of the walls. Instead of brushing it off or delaying the job, they immediately explained the issue, walked me through the remediation process, and took care of it safely and thoroughly.Once the mold problem was handled, BlueX Restoration continued with the remodel replacing drywall, updating flooring, painting, and making the space look brand new. Their attention to detail and quality of work were outstanding. The crew was professional, punctual, and always kept the workspace clean. What could have been a stressful situation turned out to be a smooth and positive experience, thanks to their honesty, communication, and craftsmanship. My office looks amazing now, and I have complete peace of mind knowing the mold was handled the right way.I highly recommend BlueX Restoration to anyone needing remodeling or restoration work. Kyle Ramos says, “Sean and his crew killed it for our window replacement. I maintain a pretty large nursing home. We recently upgraded our old terrible single pane windows approximately 55+ windows to the latest energy star line and the process was incredibly easy, including new French doors going to the patio. They did updated building drawings at the time for us (part of the permitting process). Pricing on both was easily the best around town. Armando, the crew lead was extremely knowledgeable and professional while taking care of the job, as were all of the on site crew members . They worked fast, efficiently, and did phenomenal work. They communicated any issues or possible changes promptly. We had other projects going on at the time including a new roof and deck simultaneously and were very flexible accommodating these projects at the same time. Our only issue was the permitting process, all of which was due to Multnomah county being the laughing stock of Oregon government. Even had to have the dept of forestry review the plans to ensure all of the zero trees on the property wouldn't be affected. Wish I was joking. Made the project take 3 months longer than it should of. None of which was was all seasons issue, however, I mention this because again these guys killed it. Even called me weekly to provide updates during that process. I really can't talk these dudes up enough. If you're even thinking about a project like this. Give em a ring.”

James Reinders says, “We feel so lucky to have found Mark!We hired Mark to evaluate and repair chimney-related masonry on our 50+ year-old quadplex after our roofers flagged it as a concern ahead of our re-roofing project. Mark seamlessly coordinated his work both before and after the roofingand even managed access complications, like coordinating removal of an awning. He was collaborative, flexible, and professional throughout. He showed up when he said he would, worked hard, communicated clearly, and truly knew what he was doing. His craftsmanship was precise, his attention to detail was excellent, and he left everything spotless when the job was done.He had custom metalwork done, which he integrated expertly to get a superior flashing in an area that was in need of better roof water channeling. Expertly done- and not expensive. Mark knew exactly what to do!Mark even voluntarily adjusted his invoice to better reflect the final scope of workan honest and generous move that says a lot about his integrity.Hes the kind of professional everyone wishes for. Mark is a fantastic communicator, technically sharp (hes an engineer, which shows), and genuinely nice. His rates are reasonable, his work is top-notch, and he clearly takes pride in doing things the right way.Mark is a gem, and we wouldnt hesitate to work with him again. Highly recommended!”
