“I was not aware of a serious structural issue [with the top section of my chimney] until I had Rigid Rock Masonry & Construction inspect it. My first inspection was with another contractor whereas I was advised that the chimney cap should be replaced because of some cracks. However, when I contacted Rigid Rock Masonry, they took some pictures to show me that the problem was more severe, with several layers of bricks already cracked and fragmenting apart beneath the chimney cap. The ‘cap’ was the least of my problem. The major issue was the lack of structural integrity within the portion of chimney underneath the cap. Thanks to Rigid Rock Masonry and their thorough analysis, I will contract them to make the necessary repairs to my home.”
