“I recently completed a full kitchen remodel and added a half bath in my older home, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Joe and the team at New England Classic Cabinetry. From the outset, they approached the project with professionalism, patience, and a solid understanding of the unique challenges associated with renovating an older house. As a commercial interior designer, I am familiar with construction projects and can be one of the more discerning clients, so when I say this team went above and beyond, I truly mean it. That said, I also know what’s realistic and tried to keep my expectations grounded. Beyond the excellent quality of their work, what stood out was the clear communication, responsiveness, and practical problem-solving. Renovating an older home always comes with its share of surprises, but each challenge was met with calm, thoughtful solutions. I always felt comfortable asking questions about the project. I could tell they cared about the quality of their work, which made all the difference. I also appreciated that they didn’t nickel-and-dime me with change orders. There were a couple of times I expected to get a call asking for more money because of what other contractors might consider my pickiness, but it never happened. They just handled it and kept the project moving smoothly. When we uncovered the original wainscot buried in the wall, they suggested a simple, affordable fix that kept everything on track without blowing the budget. Joe kept me consistently updated with texts and phone calls, always letting me know what had been completed and what to expect next. They also did their best to leave me with a reasonably functional space in which to prep simple meals. The craftsmanship was top-notch. Mike “Senior,” the lead carpenter, was especially meticulous and helpful. Mike “Junior” and Jim were also fantastic, skilled, respectful, and professional. The plumber was a whiz, managing to complete an impressive amount of work in just one day. The team cleaned up the site at the end of each day and kept my project on budget from start to finish. Thanks to their hard work and attention to detail, I now have my dream kitchen and a beautiful new half bath. I would absolutely work with them again and highly recommend them.”

“Luis and his crew did excellent work refurbishing my shed before Mother Nature finished reclaiming it. They removed and replaced all the old T-111 siding, trim, doors, roof shingles and windows. Then they painted it with 2 coats of the colors I supplied to match my house colors. Everything was completed in just 2 work days, with all the waste removed! They even dismantled our old dilapidated wood playhouse and disposed of that waste. That's where my sons conducted their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles club long ago. Hah! They're both in their 40s now. I know I'll be hiring Luis's company, Lucero General Contractors, for different projects in the future.”

“This was my first time using Thumbtack so I was a bit nervous at first. He reached out right away. The property he worked on was a rental property that was long overdue for LOTS of work. He addressed all the problem areas wonderfully making this a lot less stressful for us. We've decided to go with him to fix up our other property. We strongly recommend him for any handyman work. Some of the work he's done for us include painting, new flooring, removing mold, and installing various appliances. His wife also does house cleaning for a living and both of their prices are extremely fair.”
