“With just a few lessons shes already taught me the basics and what I need to do with my voice to be successful. She really cares about why youre singing, your passions, weaknesses, and goals. From the first lesson she takes the time to know you, and as the lessons go on you build a good relationship with her. Shes very patient too, and that patience makes me feel more confident and helps me improve every time. She makes me feel comfortable when I sing and always tries her best to help me. I really recommend her and if youre looking for someone passionate about her students and who really caresshes the one!!”

“By the end there was somehow a VERY noticeable change in my singing. He also managed to put a ton of information into the lesson without making it feel rushed.”

“I have noticed that my daughter is more confident and i love how Athena gives instructional lessons that go beyond singing.”

“I started taking singing lessons with Matthew 8 months ago, having never taken lessons before and being quite shy about singing in public. From the very first class, he created a safe, encouraging environment that helped me feel comfortable exploring my voice. In just a few months, I’ve become more in control of my voice and have learned to listen to myself with a more technical and constructive perspective. Matthew is dedicated to ongoing professional growth and brings fresh, fun, and highly specific exercises to every lesson, and they always deliver wonderful results. He has also taught me that singing is a full-body effort, deepening my awareness of my instrument. I would recommend Matthew to students of any level, because his teaching adapts to each person’s needs, helping them find focus, confidence, and joy in making music.”
