“I looked on Angi and Thumbtack for skunk relocation and prevention as I had a skunk living under my rear deck. I had 4 quotes and Acorn came in with best price & quality quote to trap the skunk and install screen barriers around my deck and 8x10ft shed. Set out traps for 4 days. When no skunk was tapped, Acorn installed the barrier screening with one-way trap doors that would allow the skunk to exit but not return. The one-way doors were in place for 3 days as the skunks would need to exit by then to feed. Normally that would have been the end of the service. But we were still concerned that the skunk had just relocated to the detention basin drainage channel adjacent to our house since we could smell it. So Acorn set 2 more traps for 4 days to try to trap and relocate the skunk. But wily varmint didn’t take the bait but an opossum did and Acorn responded within 2hrs to relocate to a safe environment. relocated it. I still have a skunk nesting somewhere in the drainage canal, but that is township property. With the new screen barriers (1yr warranty) we do have to worry about the skunk returning to nest under the deck. Acorn, and Brandon Stein (owner), were incredibly responsive and went the extra mile for us to solve the skunk issue. Acorn is price competitive and excellent quality of service and product installation. Everyone who came to our property were knowledgeable, friendly, polite and efficient. We could not be happier.”
