Sarah R. says, “This is what cooking from the heart taste like ! Absolutely delicious... with a Hawaiian island spin on it. Mouth watering perfection. 10/10 recommend.”
Eileen E. says, “Wow, David is amazing! The meals he prepares are both beautiful and delicious! He is punctual, polite, and professional. I highly recommend him.”
Susan S. says, “If anyone has the opportunity to host a special party, Chef Zoi will make it an unforgettable night and have your guests raving about it for days to come. I hosted a small retro themed dinner to celebrate my sister's milestone birthday. This was my first experience with a chef in my kitchen. Upon researching many profiles, I selected Zoi based on her credentials. Upon our first communication, I told her I pictured a classic prime rib dinner with a fabulous pre-dinner martini and fondue happy hour, incredible steak house favorites and a decadent dessert. She took it from there and incorporated the dietary restrictions into the menu. From the moment I opened my front door, I was greeted with her beautiful smile and personality plus. She came fully prepared with her chef gear and made her way around my small kitchen effortlessly. The food was spectacular, from the first course wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese followed by a peppercorn crusted prime rib; mini baked potatoes with creme fraiche and chives; wild mushrooms in Oregon hazelnut brown butter; roasted Brussel sprouts with lemon and parsley gremolata; cauliflower w/currants and pine nuts and topped off with a dark chocolate and expresso mousse with whipped cream and brandied cherries. I will recommend her to my friends and colleagues and most certainly use her in the future for my next very special event! Thank you Zoi!”
Leah K. says, “I previously attended an event that was catered by Chef Dane, and I can say that I was in absolute awe! Each dish was so delectable, it makes it impossible to pick a favorite. Our meal was accompanied by custom cocktails and delicious wine pairings. I still dream about the tomato margarita that we sipped on with our appetizers. Chef Dane has a deep understanding of flavor profiles and seasonality, that helped craft the most perfect menu for our warm summer dinner. The courses were plated beautifully, and timed perfectly. On top of the food tasting absolutely amazing, Chef Dane’s professionalism and attention to detail is top notch. I can’t recommend Salt & Ember Provisions enough.”
Karen S. says, “Marisa was to help 20 women at a wedding shower cook 4 meals to be served for lunch. Her menu was fabulous, and her generosity of spirit in working with me phenomenal-a bit disorganized at the site, but there were a lot of people and instruction for the cooking was difficult. It didn't help that timing to get there by all, including her, was compromised by the Bay to Breakers race! ”
