On the exterior, I had damaged bricks and mortar replaced/repaired and waterproofing applied. They then removed the original clay liner and replaced it with a stainless steel flue and insulation around it. They tuckpointed the firebox, applied sealer from the firebox to start of the new flue and painted the firebox black. Finally, they installed a new spring loaded damper at the top of the stack that is easy to open and close from the firebox. The crew worked quickly but with care and at no point did I feel worried about what was going on. They were very consistent about putting on fabric slippers over their shoes when entering the house and removing them when exiting.Now I feel confident and safe using my over 50 years old fireplace! I highly recommend this company for your chimney related needs.”
