He was quick, efficient, expert, and when he was done you couldn’t tell anything had ever happened. On top of everything his rates are very reasonable. He’s in my phone now for all things handyman.”

Penny S. says, “Professionalism and care of my furniture was shown. Would recommend to everyone needing help assembling furniture, Remodeling, . His knowledge and passion shows and everything he does.”
Johnny H. says, “We initially hired Commonwealth for a large front porch project. The owner, George, came highly recommended. We have a
large, what is called, "Farmers Porch" and it needed rebuilt. George restored the porch inclusive of support pillars, decking,
foundation and lattice work. We were fortunate to have George for this work as he restored it to a traditional porch you would see in the north east. George has roots from the Boston area.
After the success of the porch remodel, we again employed George to do a complete basement remodel. This remodel included leveling of a very sloped floor, new stairs, plank flooring, molding, windows and finally painting. This project again returned a fabulous result. My retired and prideful father-in-law who was a master carpenter, and never compliments anyone, was actually impressed. That is crazy, trust me.
Our most recent project was a complete tear-out and remodel of the master bath. This was huge. The master bath is on the second floor and George ran new water lines up from the basement. This project also included new sub-flooring, tile, electrical, ventilation through attic, custom window and a dreamy new curbless shower. It is incredible and we are so thrilled with how the project turned out.
George and Commonwealth have really delivered a fantastic product for us. What I find most appealing is the expertise and design opinions George will suggest. He's not afraid to tell you an idea is horrible, but, he's also not afraid to listen to the customer. In working with George, a trait I came to admire was his troubleshooting. Stuff doesn't always go according to plan, and he'll focus on troubleshooting or a reasonable workaround.
The craftsmanship from Commonwealth is wonderful. If you want a premium product, with a reliable company who consistently is dependable with deadlines and budgetary considerations, I can't recommend them enough.

Lynne S. says, “Cameron and Abe are amazing, Cameron is great at communicating to set up the appointment, letting me know he was on his way, and were spot on to the dot when they arrived! So kind, clean, professional, went above and beyond what I hired them to do, which was to move a heavy cabinet to the basement. They moved several extra items that were outside and swept the area! They had everything they needed, I didn’t have to provide them a single thing! We even discussed other projects they do, that are not advertised, I told them they should because they are great! I would HIGHLY recommend Cameron & Abe any day!”
Katie E. says, “Taylor was amazing. He did a fantastic job assembling our bed and even helped fix an assembly error (that someone else made) on a desk and did not charge us for the desk fix.”

Answers to commonly asked questions about bookshelf assembly in Nebraska.
Should a bookshelf be anchored to the wall?
Tall bookcases should be anchored to prevent tipping, especially when loaded or in homes with kids. Most assemblers bring anchors suited to your wall type.
Can an assembler build a wall of shelving units?
Yes. Pros can line up and join several units, like IKEA BILLY or KALLAX, for a built-in look. Share the number of units and the wall width.
How much does furniture assembly cost?
Most assemblers charge by the hour or by the piece. Price depends on how many items you have, how complex they are, and extras like stairs, wall anchoring, or hauling away boxes. Compare a few pros' starting prices, then share your item list for an exact quote. Right now, Nebraska pros on this page list starting prices from $40.
Can someone assemble IKEA, Wayfair, or Amazon furniture?
Yes. Most assemblers work with flat-pack furniture from any retailer, including beds, dressers, desks, cribs, shelving, and outdoor sets. Mention the brand and model when you request a quote so the pro can plan time and tools.
What should I have ready before the pro arrives?
Keep the boxes, hardware bags, and instructions together, and clear space in the room where the piece will go. Let the pro know about parking, stairs, or elevators, and whether you want anything anchored to the wall.
Do I need to tip a furniture assembler?
Tipping isn't required. Many customers tip for a big job, heavy lifting, or same-day help, and a good review helps local pros just as much.

Bookshelf assembly in Nebraska: what to know
Bookshelves and storage units are easy to build badly: a back panel nailed off-square or shelves set unevenly will make a unit wobble once it's loaded. Tall bookcases also need to be anchored to the wall. Nebraska assemblers build bookcases, cube organizers, media units, and built-in-style shelving systems, and can anchor them safely.
How to choose a furniture assembler
Ask for wall anchoring on any bookcase taller than it is wide.
Mention if you want several units lined up flush or joined together.
Check that shelves are level before you load them.
Bundle smaller pieces like cube organizers into the same visit.
