Wayne Brosman says, “LA Home is the third general contractor I employed to repair damages at my West Hollywood condominium. Miron is the best so far. I had a sewage backup from common drains which required subfloor repair and preparation, but Home Depot refuses to repair subfloors as a matter of company policy. So Miron could match HD prices, complete necessary demolition, as well as repairing the subfloor for finishes. Miron was able to refer me to DTLA finishes showrooms who have better selection and similar prices to Home Depot. Finally, Miron and Carlos designed and built beautiful cabinets at same cost as HD.”
Elizabeth V. says, “The contract was very simple but thorough, with payments scheduled for each phase completed. We also really liked having the project details in one big group text-a simple but effective approach. The packaged concept of kitchen cabinets and flooring options we could choose kept the process streamlined, but we were able to bring in our own adjustments such as a big sliding wall. We also liked working with their interior and exterior designers, picking out colors and tile and bathroom cabinets and fixtures etc. who rendered it all in 3D for us. Every project has its hiccups but everything was always quickly addressed, and also Ivy was proactive catching problems too. The result was something spectacular in our humble opinion. In fact, when people in the neighborhood walk by, they are very complimentary and say things like “You did it right!””
Beverly S. says, “Ari Malka is the best contractor I have ever found. I feel so fortunate to have had him handling the work on my home.
He is the only contractor I will ever use for any future project.”
Doron B. says, “Ofir was so informative, professional and nice He gave us new ideas and had a solution for any problem we had during the project (as you know construction never goes like you planning) Highly recommend :)”
Eduardo Banda says, “I'm a bit delayed in writing this review, but only because we've been enjoying our new kitchen so much! Huge shoutout to Gal, who was our project manager and the main reason we chose to go with Tulip. He did not disappoint! We had major water damage from a leak and decided to do a complete remodel of the kitchen. We interviewed 4-5 different contractors and ultimately decided to go with Tulip. One of the things that immediately stood out when talking to them was how honest they were about what could be done in the size of kitchen we had. Our initial plan (read dreams) included an island, and Gal was one of the few contractors that was up front with us about the reality of having an island in the space we had. Although we were initially disappointed, it's clear seeing the end result that this was the right choice.Gal was very communicative and always a text message away for anything we needed. As with any home project, there were times we needed to pivot, or had tough/fast decision to make, but Gal made sure we understood what was happening, why it was happening, and the options we had. He was also quick to give advice when we didn't know exactly what to do in certain situations. We ended up being slightly over budget due to some last minute design decisions, but to be honest we couldn't be happier with our new kitchen, Tulip, Gal, and overall project timeline and cost. We will definitely be calling them for our next project!”
Jose D. says, “We’re extremely satisfied with the final result and would definitely recommend The Oak Development to anyone looking for a reliable general contractor.”
Chris H. says, “Joe and his team worked hard and in the end made a fine looking product. When dealing with multiple neighbors it can always be challenging. ”
