“At our first meeting, I knew Matt would be the contractor I selected for the job. He arrived equipped with samples of the decking material I specified. We spent a fair amount of time discussing what I wanted done and working through the details of how to achieve it. He was thoughtful and creative when it came to addressing specific issues with the porch. We discussed details, both structural and aesthetic. By the end of our meeting I was confident that Matt understood what I wanted and that he was committed to achieving it. He was also conscientious about keeping the cost down by minimizing material waste. The contract that Matt submitted for my approval was detailed and reflected his understanding of the scope of the project. The crew arrived early each morning and worked non-stop each day until early evening. Mark, the carpenter on the job, was very detail-oriented and his craftsmanship was excellent. He and his partner, Dan, even suggested an alternative way to build the new stairs that was more aesthetically pleasing than the original design. And they accomplished it with the materials on hand.We love the way our porch project turned out and have had many compliments on the results. We would not hesitate to hire MWG Construction again for a future project and feel confident in referring Matt and his crew to our friends.”

“Dan built a sidewalk and retaining wall for us. Turned out better than I expected.”

“Josh replaced our wooden deck with a composite deck. He did an excellent job. He was very diligent and very particular in his work. I would recommend him for any deck work.”
