“After quitting piano in 8th grade, detours into playing bass in bands and helping my kids with their music lessons, I finally started playing piano again. It was fun, but I quickly hit a dead end — I didn’t have the tools to get where I wanted to go harmonically. I wanted to understand music better and to feel more comfortable and creative on the keyboard. Harrison’s approach is giving me a way to understand music theory and apply it on the keyboard without requiring a strong jazz focus. Already I feel it is really working for me. I’m hearing harmony a little better, feeling more comfortable on the piano and am motivated for the challenges ahead. Harrison’s method feels less like learning individual songs and more like learning to understand music itself.”

“I'm so grateful to have found Simon for our kids' piano lessons! He is an exceptional teacher who has accelerated their progress at an incredible rate. From the very first lesson, we were impressed by Simon's professionalism, patience, and ability to connect with children. His talent for working with kids is evident in every interaction - he makes learning piano a joyful and engaging experience. Under his guidance, our son and daughter started to play more complex songs that truly challenge them. Hearing my son playing Tchaikovsky was truly special. I highly recommend Simon to any parent looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable piano teacher for their child.”

“Maya is a great, proactive piano teacher. She creates a lesson plan that follows any style and level. The lessons she has online are extremely helpful and she gives you the space and curriculum to achieve your goals. Her plan is set up for a weekly meet and additionally allows for extra meetings if you so desire.”

“I personally appreciated the quick responses as I needed to make a decision for a gift. I hope it works out for us going with someone less expensive and with less experience. Based on my research, this was an obvious choice but I couldn’t afford it.”

“My kids are always excited for he to return”

“Andrew has been teaching our teen for 1 year, mixture of virtual and in person lectures. She has made a significant progress after starting guitar lessons with Andrew, without having any prior experience with guitar and now plays several of her favorite songs. She has fun during her lessons and is motivated to play guitar without us having to remind her. Andrew is very easy to communicate with, responds quickly and is accommodating should there be a need to change a lesson last minute. He also has excellent work ethic - always on time and works with us to make sure lessons are given in an environment we are comfortable with given current state of pandemic.”
