Chef Shi made beef enchiladas, a taco bar with beef and chicken both with grilled veggies, two types of tortillas with ALL the toppings! Her guacamole was DELISH! As well as rice, beans and I requested elote corn. That corn dish, straight off the cobb, was the BEST!! But so was EVERYTHING she made. My guests all went for 2nd helpings! Our guests all commented how delicious everything was, which made me a happy hostess. Chef Chi and her assistant Destiny showed up on time, both so kind and professional. They had all the dishes cooked and ready before our gusts arrived. They set it all up buffet style, extremely well organized. They then set the table with disposable, yet elegant plates and gold toned utensils. These ladies set a beautiful table. Our guests all commented on how lovely it all looked. I would not hesitate to hire Chef Shi in a heartbeat!! And I will hire her again next time I host a party with many gusts. Thanks for all your hard work Chef Shi!!!!! Crunchy on the outside, moist, tender and flavorful on the inside.. the best we all had ever had. Of course the Bratwursts and sides were curated from great German sources and cooked to perfection. The Apple Strudel was perfection for dessert! In addition he had his special German baker bake 2 incredible German breads, and he curated mustards, cheeses and meats for breakfast and lunch for the next morning!! In addition, Chef Julius is so easy to work with! He responds quickly and consistently during the planning, so that you know your event will be perfect. ALSO.. he and my family dressed in German outfits for the Oktoberfest Feast.. making it even more festive!”

Mike accommodated all our requirements/wishes to come up with a menu that was a blend of what we wanted and a delightful push into a realm of fine dining that we had not expected. The unexpected? Mike came to the dining room prior to each course to talk about the food/wine pairing during the service. Also, way beyond expectations? The food was awesome. WOW! He picked out the food fresh from the Farmer's Market (Fish, Veggies, Salad, ++). He cooked every dish to perfection. And he culminated the meal with an incredible set of sundaes PLUS home-baked cookies. Mike is a great chef: attentive to both what he cooks and those who eat the meal. It started before the event: Sesean partnered with me in thinking through the menus with real care, then presented me two options, both of which looked great. He then helped me rent beautiful dishes and flatware, brought a sous chef and servers (who were awesome) and was fast and responsive with texts leading up to the event. When the event came, my wife and her friends raved about the food. We ended up with a salad, raw fish appetizer, lamb with cherry glaze, and dark chocolate dessert. It was all awesome (I was able to taste some too and can confirm: it was fantastic). It was exactly what I wanted: elevated without being stuffy. Honestly 10/10, and fulfilled everything I was looking for in bringing a private chef to the house instead of going to a nice restaurant. It was also all plated beautifully. On top of all of that, Sesean himself was a joy to be around, as was the rest of his team. His server, So, was particularly warm and great. When you end up having people like this in your house for half a day (to say nothing of functioning almost like hosts at the party), this matters. I'd recommend Sesean gladly for anyone else doing anything like this, and if I have occasion again for an event like this, I won't shop it at all; I'll just reach out to Sesean.”
